Our Mission

Purpose Statement: To foster meaningful relationships in a healthy Christ-centered community based on Respect, Encouragement, Accountability, and Love. We provide a path forward for people who are homeless and hurting that will help them discover value, find hope, and move from a life of merely surviving to truly thriving.

Mission Statement: To serve people who are on the journey from homeless and hurting to whole and healthy by meeting basic needs and transforming lives through the love of Christ.

Vision Statement: To see those who look to New Life Center for help move from a life of merely surviving to truly thriving.

Down Home

Who We Are: Down Home is made up of powerful movers and shakers in our community who choose to be Boots on the Ground in the battle against homelessness.

Our Mission: Down Home empowers lives by furnishing homes for families and individuals emerging from homelessness.

Our Vision: Down Home envisions a community where everyone lives in a supported, stable, and nurturing home.

Homeless Connection

Opening Doors for Youth

Overview: Thanks to the Youth Homeless Demonstration Project (YHDP) grant funded by the North Dakota Continuum of Care, Pathfinder Services of ND is able to provide support to individuals experiencing housing insecurity, launching two new initiatives, the North Dakota Housing Hub and Pathways to Success.

Housing Hub: North Dakota Housing Hub is designed to function as a central location of regional resources for individuals and agencies searching for housing and supportive services.

Pathways to Success: Pathways to Success' goal is to improve infrastructures for YYA experiencing homelessness in rural counties in ND.

Heaven Helpers Closet (701)

ABOUT US

Heaven Helpers Closet (701) is a non-profit ministry that operates under the umbrella of Heaven Helpers Soup Cafe. Our team is dedicated to modeling the compassionate and selfless way that Jesus lived by serving individuals and families who are struggling to meet their basic needs.

Our Mission: is to provide free clothing to those who need it most. We offer a wide selection of clean and beautiful clothing, including bedding, blankets, and personal care items such as towels, washcloths, shampoo, soap, as well as footwear. Our priority is to offer our guests a dignified shopping experience where they can select the items that they need.

We are neither a thrift store nor a retail establishment. Our focus is on providing free clothing to those in need in our community. As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, all donations to Heaven Helpers Closet (701) are tax-deductible. We rely on the generosity of our community to provide monetary donations and clothing items to help us continue our mission. We are always looking for volunteers who share our mission and values. We welcome Christ-loving, kind-hearted individuals to join us in helping shoppers and processing clothing donations. Please visit our Volunteer page to sign up and share your time with us.
