"Every kid loves a birthday...and they want to feel special, and they deserve to feel special."
Since December 2024, Birthday Beacon has thrown nearly 160 birthday parties for elementary-age children in the Bismarck–Mandan area! 🎉
Working with school social workers and community partners like us, they ensure that kids who might not otherwise have a celebration can enjoy a special day at places like a Bismarck Larks game, Sky Zone, or the zoo.
Our care coordinator, Alexis, shared: “I’ve never been able to enjoy my own birthday until I was older. And so, to be able to give that to kids that have similar lives to me and far worse… every kid loves a birthday… they want to feel special, and they deserve to feel special.” 💙
This week, Birthday Beacon gathered families and partners at Boden Office Park to celebrate the impact that keeps growing. 👏
